Exactly what we query, and nothing else
These are the only sources a self-audit queries. For web and news results we query public search engines for publicly available results through a search service we run on our own servers; everything else is a free public API or feed. Username and Reddit lookups run only when you give us a username. We do not use data brokers, people-search sites, or breach or leaked-credential data.

Registry changes are announced here before they take effect. Services marked “Run by us” are components we operate on our own infrastructure; results always link to their original publishers. If a search engine blocks or throttles a query, your report's Public Sources table shows it as unavailable rather than silently returning nothing.
